A gene slot is the place a gene sits. Two names in one slot are versions of that gene: Albino and Candy share a slot, so pairing them is not a sure visual. Motley and Stripe share the corn pattern slot. Kahl albino and Sharp albino are different boa slots, so they can stack. Combo names like Snow are what those genes look like together, not extra genes.

Start small. A pair of normals teaches the loop. Add one gene project after that.
